Welcome

Steddle Stone holiday cottages are located just outside the historic town of Stamford near the village of Uffington. They are in a peaceful, countryside setting, well off the beaten track. Individually designed and furnished these once redundant stone farm buildings offer you a tranquil, idyllic holiday location which is within easy reach of many local attractions.  They are part of a small group of old farm buildings (seven in total) which are gradually being converted to houses. There is also a thriving livery yard next door, so horses are welcome too!  We are surrounded by grass and arable fields and the woods are not far away - there is plenty of wildlife on the doorstep.

The village of Uffington is a mile away on the A16 between Tallington and Stamford and has a fine stone thatched pub which is open for meals seven days a week and there is also an Indian restaurant on the Main Street. Stamford is only four miles away and has many varied restaurants to cater for all tastes.
